The Construction

The vehicle restraint system MAXI-RAIL® composes of pile-driven posts C-125. The two transverse box beam elements are fixed to the posts by comb-shaped deformation elements.
The guard rail beam (A or B profiles available) is connected to the lower box beam profile.
The height of the guard rail beam is 750 mm. Three wire ropes at the rear side of the posts provide extra strength.

The System

The MAXI-RAIL® system is hot dip galvanized. Its overall height is 1150 mm, the width is 570 mm. The longitudinal elements have a length of 4000 mm, the weight is 95 kg per meter.
Beginning and ending of this construction are turned down, anchored and clamped onto a concrete basemenet.
MAXI-RAIL® allows force-fitted transition to any other system.
There is therefore no need for complicated transition devices to existing guard rail systems.
